Under the Global Food Security Response framework, USAID commissioned a value chain analysis of rice in West Africa. The regional study was informed by five country studies conducted in Ghana, Mali, Liberia, Senegal and Nigeria. The Ghana Rice Study provides recommendations for an upgrading strategy to enhance food security and the competitiveness of the rice value chain in Ghana.
